Drinkables® Liquid Joint Care
Offers Liquid Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulfate, MSM
In Single Concentrated Daily Dose

FORT WORTH, Texas – Drinkables® liquid nutritional supplements will be offering a liquid joint care product in grocery and drug stores and through mass merchandisers beginning in the second quarter of 2002. The pleasant-tasting citrus flavored Drinkables® Liquid Joint Care provides a full day’s dosage of glucosamine HCl, chondroitin sulfate and MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) in a single, daily dose.

“Research has indicated that glucosamine, especially when it is combined with chondroitin sulfate, may provide support for joints,” explains William Steele IV, president of Remington Health Products, LLC, which produces the Drinkables® liquid supplements. “However, many active individuals find it difficult to remember to take several doses daily – and there are few other options today.

Each one-ounce dose of Drinkables® Liquid Joint Care includes 2,000 mg of glucosamine HCl, one of three glucosamine compounds available commercially today. According to the Physicians Desk Reference (PDR) for Nutritional Supplements, some researchers say glucosamine HCl may allow better delivery of the supplement than other compounds. At 2,000 mg, the amount of glucosamine in each one-ounce dose is 500 mg more than the recommended minimum intake.

Drinkables® Liquid Joint Care also provides 1,200 mg of chondroitin sulfate in each dose. Tests cited in the PDR for Nutritional Supplements have shown that both glucosamine and chondroitin may have a positive impact, with an even greater impact when the two are combined.

A single dose of Drinkables® Liquid Joint Care includes 500 mg of MSM and 50 mg of collagen to provide supplementary support for joint care.*

“Our supplement also includes 60 mg of Vitamin C, which is 100 percent of the RDI (Reference Daily Intake),” says Steele.

He adds Drinkables® Liquid Joint Care is highly absorbable and bioavailable.

“With a liquid, the supplement can move directly from the stomach into the bloodstream and on to the joints,” explains Steele.

He adds that Drinkables® Liquid Joint Care may be gentler on the digestive system because of its composition.
