Q: Aren’t some of the minerals in Colloidal Minerals harmful or poisonous?
A: Colloidal Minerals does include some minerals that you wouldn’t want to consume in granular or metallic form because large amounts can be harmful. The amounts contained in Colloidal Minerals are very tiny – parts per million, per billion, and even per trillion. Colloidal Minerals provides minerals at levels similar to what a balanced diet would provide. For example, a 1-oz. dose of Colloidal Minerals provides less arsenic than an entire head of lettuce. Arsenic can be poisonous in its metallic form but in smaller amounts it plays an important role in heart health and neonatal growth.
