FORT WORTH, TEXAS (June 1, 2006) - Drinkables® nutritional supplements will re-launch Drinkables® Liquid Colloidal Minerals, a “new and improved” version of their liquid colloidal minerals product, beginning in June 2006. The pleasant-tasting berry flavored supplement, which will be available at Sam’s Wholesale Clubs nationwide, provides major and trace elements in a single 1 oz. daily dose.

Steele explains that soil tests throughout the world point to a severe depletion of minerals needed by the human body. "Researchers believe potential causes of this depletion include over-cultivation and inadequate minerals give-back by nitrogen- and phosphorous-based fertilizers. As a result, foods are deficient in key trace minerals required for human health. Today, cultivated plants and their by-products have no more than 16 to 20 minerals present in their organic structures, and the most common foods have no more than eight minerals present," said Steele.

In some cases, the trace minerals are needed in small – sometimes minute – amounts to work with major minerals in support of human health. Research has shown that vitamins have been found to be virtually ineffective unless working in conjunction with these minerals.

"Many mineral supplements on the market in tablet form today contain 15 or fewer minerals – and most of these are metallic minerals which are manufactured by grinding rock and soil," claims Steele.
